The G44 is a compact (GLOCK 19) pistol and can be adapted to almost any hand using a variety of back straps attached to the pistol. The G44 comes standard with the GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) for greater precision and accuracy. Opinions about the latest version of GLOCK have been swirling around the internet since it was first announced a few weeks ago, and believe me, I've heard it all. Without straying from other manufacturers' rimfire models - there are some really great .22LR pistols on the market - the GLOCK 44 fills an always-on void. This pistol has exactly the same dimensions, same ergonomics, same manual and classic GLOCK pistol feel as the world's most popular concealed carry pistol. While reliably shooting reasonably priced .22LR ammo.

With an MSRP of over $400, the GLOCK 44 is slightly more expensive than other options on the market. Unfortunately that price doesn't cover the cost of the threaded barrel sold as a kit and will likely cost around $125. Hopefully GLOCK will one day offer a suppressor G44 package with a threaded barrel and large bore canister suppressor height sights.
Converted to M9 X .75 gauge, GLOCK 44 threaded barrel includes thread guard and adapter to convert to standard 1/2 x 28 gauge. More complaints came when the electronics world wanted to pair the barrel with the 1/2 x 28. Note that as you can see in the picture, the G44 barrel diameter does not support the 1/2 x 28 thread pattern and the thread adapter does not add much length to the bare meter threads.
If you can scrape the Glock, you can replace the threaded barrel. Remember the four basic safety rules and always refer to the user manual for official instructions when in doubt.
M9 phones are tiny; the wire shield is about half the size of the 1/2 × 28 wire shield.

As mentioned above, the 1/2 x 28 adapter slides over the inline barrel, reducing the length more than the stock.
This photo is a bit deceiving but the G44 threaded barrel is slightly longer than the stock G44 barrel.
The overall look is clean and stylish. The small diameter of the barrel reduces the reach of the bore and allows the use of raised sights. Pictured here is a dead air mask with a .22 silencer.
Glock 44 Total Fail Pictures
By spending just a few hours on the ground with the G44, you should excuse my lack of ammo and silencer variety. I used CCI clean subsonic and high velocity with a dead air mask. Both ammo types worked flawlessly.
The mask is a great suppressor and works great on the G44. As a suppressive host, the G44 does not disappoint. It feels just like the Gen 5 G19 (although slightly lighter) without the noise or kickback.
