While this event will once again be about turning in the rewards players get to improve their position on the podium, Bungie has also added some new features. To unlock Unauthorized Exit, you need to complete Medallion Stallion's victory streak. This achievement is only available in Guardian Games, which means that once this event is over, you won't be able to unlock it. As for winning, you just have to keep putting medals on the podium. The higher score rewards you accumulate, the more progress you will make in completing this conquest. Like many event wins, medallion stallions are divided into four parts. Completing one of the items will grant you a trophy that increases rarity, completes a victory, and unlocks an unauthorized departure ship.

Unlike many other aspects of the Guardian games, your progress does not reset every week. Because of this, you will always move towards a medallion stallion. To speed this up, always make sure to get a gold or platinum competitor card. This will make the most progress towards completing this victory and also has the added benefit of helping you find your Medallion Battalion. If you are a solo player, I recommend using Vanguard Contender cards or Lost Sector Platinum cards, as they can be completed quickly with little effort.

Remember that buying these rival cards will also cost Laurels so make sure you always have your Guardian Games class section with you. Not equipping it won't drop laurels, which can make farming medals pretty boring. You should also make sure to complete various other conquests while completing opponents, as they will often award bronze, silver, and gold medals as well. Gold medals are available after completing the three Crucible, Vanguard, Gambit, Seasonal and Throne World Contender cards. This will help speed things up and ensure you're making the most of your reward.

But honestly, you don't need to reduce/increase your reward training. I'm only 4-5 hours into the event and I'm about halfway through this win. Given that you have a few weeks until this event ends, I have no doubt that you can complete the Medallion Stallion by casually playing. Make sure you pick a win as iAmanda circles the new SUROS jump ship admiring its flat planes and sharp edges. She looked like something from the golden age.

A: Out-of-the-box perks are fixed, "selective" rolls from Bungie. Sometimes this fixed version of an item will turn into a full masterpiece (see Nation of Beasts or Vouchsafe for example). Other times, these perks are just for show, like when you preview an item from your collection.

Q: Do these benefits always expire? Can I get Vouchsafe with Double Dragonfly?

A: If an item is able to roll one of its benefits with random fixed rolls, it will also be included in the random roll section.

A: Community average selection is a way to "crowdsource" what the best roll is on each weapon. By taking a look at the world portion of the Destiny population using the Bungie API, we can see what different players prefer for each weapon. These figures are presented as community averages.

A: As part of this feature, we are now tracking all active players using the Bungie API, not just those logged in. The stats shown here are based on all players logged in in the last 2 weeks.

Seen from our scraper. This process will calculate the number of items found in the vault/inventory of players who have granted access to their "unequipped inventory". However, the default Bungie.net permissions only allow us to see all information about weapons equipped by each player character.

A: Partially. Presumably if someone has a weapon, they prefer it, which would mean that the benefits on it are considered better. At the same time, most people are probably disassembling rolls that they think are bad, so even if we could see their entire stock, we wouldn't catch many "dud" rolls. Overall, the phenomenon of (mostly) only seeing equipped rolls will reduce the total number of rolls on less popular weapons, but perks that appear will tend to be more popular, otherwise people wouldn't keep rolling. Prepare it alone.

A: The bars for each percentage are based on the most popular benefit in that column. The most popular perk will fill its bar and each perk below it will show how popular it is compared to the most popular. So if 22% of the rolls use the most popular perk in the column and 11% of the rolls use the least popular perk, the least popular perk column should be about half full. The purpose of showing it this way is to create a better contrast between the options.

A: Ranks range from F- to S+, depending on how "far" your pitch is from the community average. The choice with the least popular advantage in each column should be ranked F-, and the roll with the most popular advantage in each column should be ranked S+.

A: The best way to help make this tool more accurate/complete for everyone is to update your Bungie.net privacy settings so that the API tools see your raw inventory. The more people who allow full access to their inventory, the more weapons we can identify and the more comprehensive the resulting statistics will be.

A: Bungie has announced that starting in Season 12, weapons will have a cap on the amount of power you can use. We call this process the "solar layer".

A: There will be a big sunset starting in season 12, where all* legendary weapons and armor periods from 1-8 will be canceled. After that, weapons and armor are effectively sunsetted 1 year after their release.

A: Yes. Bungie has stated that Aliens will not sunset. Additionally, gear from Last Wish and Garden of Salvation raids will play by different rules than standard armor and weapons, though Bungie hasn't fully clarified what those rules will be.

A: Not exactly. This change really only matters in activities where power matters, such as raids, nightfalls, trials, etc. In most open world activities and standard Crucible playlists, you'll still be able to use the armor/weapons you want.

Additionally, Bungie has also indicated that they plan to "re-release" certain weapons/armor in the future, giving them another 12 months in the sun.

A: These perks have been compiled by top scholars in the community as perks to look for on each weapon.
